Refund and Cancellation Policy

Overview

This policy outlines the ways in which students’ tuition fees are protected in the event that Serala Entrepreneurship College (SEC) is unable to deliver a course for which tuition fees have been paid. It outlines the alternative arrangements which will be made and the College’s responsibility for the cost of any alternative or transitional arrangements in the event of provider or course default.

Refunds

Physical Attendance Refunds

  • In the unlikely event that a student has accepted an offer of enrolment and the College is unable to deliver the course, the student’s deposit and any tuition fees paid to date will be refunded within two weeks of the agreed starting day of the course or within two weeks from the date on which the course ceases to be provided, whichever is soonest.
  • In these circumstances a continuing student may request a refund of any unused portion of any prepaid tuition fees (i.e. tuition which has been paid for, but which has not yet been delivered) rather than a full refund in recognition of the fact that they may obtain credit with another provider for the study already completed.

Physical Attendance Alternative Course Options

  • In the event of a provider default, a commencing student may be made an offer to enrol in an alternative course of the College, at SEC expense for a cost no greater than the cost of the originally offered course of study.
  •  This may include enrolment at another provider in the same location who offers a similar course to the course offered at the College. SEC will meet the expenses for costs no greater than the cost of the originally offered course of study.

Online Digital Courses Refund

  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all digital online courses purchased directly through our website. If you are unable to access your course within 30 days of purchase, you may request a full refund.
  • To initiate a refund, please contact our customer support team at ask@sec.africa within the 30-day period. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 days of approval.
  • Courses purchased through third-party platforms or promotional offers may have different refund policies. Please refer to the respective platform or offer terms for details.

Online Digital Course Cancellation Policy

  • If you wish to cancel your enrolment in a subscription based course after the 30-day refund period has elapsed, no refunds will be provided. However, you will continue to have access to the course content for the duration of your enrolment.
  • To cancel your enrolment, please contact our customer support team at ask@sec.africa. Once cancelled, access to the course materials will be terminated, and future billing will be suspended.
  • Subscription-based courses can be cancelled at any time, and access to the course materials will continue until the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

Exceptions

  • In exceptional circumstances, such as technical issues preventing access to course materials or instructor-initiated cancellations, we may offer refunds or alternative solutions at our discretion.
  • Any exceptions to our standard refund and cancellation policy will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
