Entrepreneurship Masterclass

 

The inaugural SEC entrepreneurship masterclass was designed for individuals who have a background in business or have already started their own business and are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the key concepts and strategies involved in building a successful enterprise.

The first guest teacher, Mr. Meempat Shankar, is an entrepreneur with many years of experience running his own businesses across a range of industries that include, furniture manufacturing, a medical facility, stationery supplies and distribution, horticulture and agro-distribution.

The second guest teacher, Mr. Isaac Kgosiyareng, is market intelligence consultant with many years of experience working with entrepreneurs, helping them to scan, analyze and exploit market opportunities. His clients are from a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, education, waste management and sanitation and SME Finance.

The entrepreneurship masterclass covered a wide range of topics, such as market intelligence, people and financial management, navigating geo-political influences in business, and scaling enterprises. It also provided a forum for participants to network with other entrepreneurs, connect with potential mentors and consultants, and learn from other business leaders and experts in the field.
